Today, if you try to open that old .swf file or intranet portal in a modern browser, you’ll get a dead end. Browsers either block Flash entirely or have updated to newer (or older) security sandboxes that break version detection. Warning: Flash Player 11.5.0 has dozens of known, unpatched Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerabilities. Do not install this version on your daily internet browsing machine.
If you have the original .fla source file, consider exporting it as HTML5 Canvas (via Adobe Animate) or a video file. Emulation is a stopgap; conversion is the future.
