Akua was taken aback. How did he know she was coming? She tried to hurry past him, but Kofi fell into step beside her.
As the night wore on, Akua grew more and more uneasy. Kofi seemed to know an awful lot about her and her family. He told stories that made her aunt laugh and reminisce. I didn't expect you to come tonight
Akua was puzzled. How did her aunt know Kofi? And why was he acting like an old friend?
Akua was left with more questions than answers. But as she lay in bed that night, she couldn't shake the feeling that she had encountered something much bigger than herself.
"You shouldn't have come here tonight," he whispered.
Akua had always been warned about the dangers of traveling alone at night. But she had to visit her aunt who lived on the outskirts of the village. As she walked, the darkness seemed to swallow her whole. The only sound was the rustling of leaves and the distant howling of hyenas.
Suddenly, a loud noise startled her. She turned to see Kofi standing behind her, a mischievous glint in his eye.
