Libby Parsons is happily married to Nick until she wakes up on a boat, covered in blood, with her husband missing. She is convicted of his murder. Years later, she discovers Nick is actually alive and framed her. While in prison, she learns the legal concept of “double jeopardy” (you cannot be tried for the same crime twice). Once paroled, she tracks down Nick, knowing she can kill him legally—because she’s already been convicted for his “murder.”
