Heaven Stand Script Direct

A soft, timeless light. A wooden podium – the “Stand” – floats above a cloud floor.

VOICE (off, gentle) Well done, good and faithful… stander-down.

SOUL (smiling, weeping) I thought I had to be tall. Now I see – heaven stands under me.

GUARDIAN No. You are held.

The podium becomes a mirror. Soul sees their own face, then flickering images of people they’ve hurt.

SOUL (V.O.) They said heaven would be rest. No one mentioned a stand.

SOUL (long pause) Then what am I supposed to stand on? Heaven Stand Script

SOUL My good deeds. My suffering. My reasons.

GUARDIAN Heaven’s stand is not a platform for your résumé. It’s the place where you stop holding yourself up.

Soul steps off the stand. The podium dissolves into light. A soft, timeless light

GUARDIAN (enters, calm) The stand is where truth speaks without defense. What do you hold?

SOUL So I fall?

If that’s not what you meant, please share a few more details (game, religious essay, fan fiction, or school assignment). I’ll rewrite the script or essay exactly to your need. SOUL (smiling, weeping) I thought I had to be tall

GUARDIAN And if those are not asked for?
