It takes the best base from KS Hairdos and injects modern physics, better texture mapping, and a distinctly fantasy-but-mature vibe. For SSE players tired of helmet hair, this is a solid win. The Good 1. Physics That Make Sense Most vanilla hairs are stiff as dragon bone. HG Hairdos 2 uses HDT-SMP (if you install the physics version) to give long hair, ponytails, and side-swept bangs realistic bounce and collision. It’s not overdone – your hair won’t flail like a wet flag in a tornado. Instead, it settles naturally when you run or turn. That said, do not skip the non-physics version if your rig struggles with SMP – the static meshes still look excellent.
