Hiccup is no longer the boy who can’t kill a dragon; he’s a young adult torn between his pacifist ideals and the brutal reality of war. The film introduces Drago Bludvist – a villain not just cruel, but ideologically opposed to Hiccup’s entire worldview. He doesn’t want to capture dragons; he wants to weaponize their fear. That’s genuinely chilling for a PG movie.
