(King of Amer), a wise but anxious ruler, sits on his throne. His hands tremble slightly as he holds a silk scroll sealed with the Mughal imperial emblem—a crescent and a sword.
Suddenly, a tiger (released by Adham Khan’s men to cause fear) leaps toward Jodhaa’s group. Guards panic.
For the first time, they see each other—not as emperor and princess, but as two souls made of fire and pride.
Akbar watches, mesmerized.
His son, (Prince of Amer), stands beside him, fists clenched.
"Piyanā (Father), this is not an alliance. This is slavery! The Mughal Emperor Akbar demands a Rajput princess as a bride for political peace. Are we goats to be gifted?"
"Perhaps, Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar. But remember—I am not yours. I will become yours only when you become mine. Equals. Not master and servant." Jodha Akbar Sinhala Episode 1
