The TK-3107 is a legendary workhorse VHF/UHF portable, but programming it in the modern Windows 10/11 era is a nightmare. The software (KPG-60D) wasn't built for this decade.

If you are reading this, you probably have a bricked-looking Kenwood TK-3107 sitting on your bench, a USB programming cable blinking uselessly, and an error message screaming "Check Connection" or "Model Mismatch."

Drop the exact error number in the comments below. (Most common: Error 39 = Wrong model selected; Error 43 = Timing/Handshake issue). Disclaimer: Programming radios requires a license for commercial frequencies. Ensure you have permission to transmit on the frequencies you program.

KPG-60D version 2.01 (or later). Do not use version 1.x.
