Mind Your Language (ITV, 1977–1986) is a British sitcom created by Vince Powell. Set in a London adult education college, it follows teacher Jeremy Brown (Barry Evans) and a class of foreign students whose linguistic errors drive the comedy. While the show has been criticized for racial and ethnic stereotyping, it retains a cult following.
