KINGDOM HEARTS III tells the story of the power of friendship as Sora and his friends embark on a perilous adventure. Set in a vast array of Disney and Pixar worlds, KINGDOM HEARTS follows the journey of Sora, a young boy and unknowing heir to a spectacular power. Sora is joined by Donald Duck and Goofy to stop an evil force known as the Heartless from invading and overtaking the universe.
Through the power of friendship, Sora, Donald and Goofy unite with iconic Disney-Pixar characters old and new to overcome tremendous challenges and persevere against the darkness threatening their worlds.
“Loop mapped. Cameras blind in three sectors. And Kai… I found him. The Kid. He’s in a wheelchair at a rehab center downtown. He said to tell you: ‘Don’t land it for me. Land it because the ground wants to be carved.’”

The video showed an older, grizzled Tony Hawk, not the clean-cut icon from the old tapes. This Tony had a scar over his eye. He was standing in a half-built skate park made of scavenged solar panels and repurposed riot shields.
Then the ground shook. A battered van smashed through a barricade. The door slid open. Inside was The Kid, braced against the seat, one hand on the wheel. “Get in,” he said. “Then get out.”
At mile 71, Kai’s board cracked. He was half a mile from the finish—a massive loop-the-loop built from the wreckage of an old police exosuit. He couldn’t make it.
Kai’s heart pounded. 11 minutes of chaos. 11 minutes to send a message.
When the lights came back, the Wasteland wasn’t a memory.
“Reload complete. Now do it again. Faster.”
The wind screamed. Sparks flew. The first mile was pure muscle memory. By mile 10, drones were swarming. He ollied over one, used its rotor wash to boost a 540, and landed on a moving dump truck. By mile 30, the city’s AI noticed the anomaly. Traffic lights flickered. Ads glitched into static.
Los Angeles. The not-so-distant future.
Hidden inside a derelict water tower—the only structure the city hadn't bothered to level—was a cracked hard drive labeled . Not a game. A manifesto. A collection of blueprints, coordinates, and encrypted video logs.

The last skater left the burnt-out halfpipe at 3:00 AM. Not because he wanted to, but because the new police drones—low, humming things with stun prods—had finally chased him off. His name was Kai, and he was trying to resurrect a ghost.
The original Wasteland crew had scattered. Mindy, the punk architect, now designed interactive museum exhibits. The skater who once fire-extinguisher-dusted his name across the city, a legend known only as "The Kid," had vanished after a failed protest that got his legs shattered by a riot suppression exosuit. They called that night the "Wasteland Fall."
The new L.A. was a seamless, sterilized wonderland. Hovering ad-blimps pumped ambient pop music. The streets were smooth as glass—too smooth. Grinds left no mark. Every quarter pipe was either a bus stop or a branded "grind-zone" sponsored by energy drinks. Skating wasn't rebellion; it was a commuter option. You could rent a board, swipe your wristband, and trick your way to work.
